ESG Consultant

About the job 

As an ESG Consultant, your mission will involve developing ESG (environmental, social, governance) themes with clients, assisting them with compliance and promoting responsible and sustainable practices. You will also foster the development of new, emerging teams within Actum and collaborate with colleagues across divisions. Additionally, you will contribute to the growth of ESG competencies within the Czech Republic and DACH region, while supporting community building efforts.

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver ESG engagements across various fields (e.g., FMCG, manufacturing).
• Assist in developing sustainability strategies and product offerings.
• Perform process and gap analysis for upcoming regulations.
• Help clients achieve their ESG objectives.
• Design and implement new processes, procedures, and systems.

What we expect:

• 2+ years of experience in sustainability or ESG consulting.
• Knowledge of EU ESG regulations and ESG risk management.
• Strong communication skills in Czech and English; proficiency in German is a plus.
• Open-mindedness and intellectual curiosity.
• Innovative approach and critical thinking.
• Enthusiasm for personal and professional development.

Hard skills:

• Familiarity with ESG frameworks (GRI, CSRD, CS3D, EUDR).
• Expertise in ESG data analysis, impact assessment, and risk management.
• Experience in stakeholder engagement and ESG communication strategies.
• Proficiency in data analysis, SQL, Python, and familiarity with BI tools or AI/ML.
