It has always been difficult for Peter to read some websites. He would always prefer to shop in a store than order anything online. Sometimes, when he tried to pay for an e-shop basket, he realized that he can't finish doing it without someone else's help. He does not feel well when he is dependent on other people’s help.

Peter has a vision impairment. Even with powerful glasses, he struggles to read text on a computer screen. Therefore, he uses the text enlargement function, sometimes up to 400%. He does not want to use the screen reader. He is not blind, and moreover, you can’t get such a device cheap. He can see, but he has difficulty identifying small letters. Especially when the text has no sufficient contrast against the background.

This is what it looks like when Peter is trying to read a page on the Internet:

Low vision simulation. A website window is blurred on one side and sharp on the other side.

There are about 1 billion people with some degree of vision loss globally. More than 300 million have low vision, like Peter. Let them experience your website as you intend. Help us remove accessibility barriers.
